Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Set up and operate workstations and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
Check computer hardware (HDD, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to corporate specifications
Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
Support the users with our custom production planning application
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance together with our global IT-Team based in Austria
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts)
Maintain the Server infrastructure together with the Austrian IT-Team.
Good diagnostic and problem solving skills for hard and software.
Good communication ability (in English) are required
Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products
Willingness to be available on demand outside the "normal working hours".
Willingness to learn about, train and support the custom-made production planning application.
Knowledge of using and specifying/ implementing change requests in the software 1C would be an advantage.
Knowledge about telephony (Mobile phones, VOIP)
Willingness to travel
